hi guys....recently i tried to update my phone to the latest firmware....but suddenly during the update a error message showed up stating that "Connection is lost"...after that i disconnected the phone usb and had to remove the battery(as the white screen would not go).....now my phone does not start...on pressing the switch on button it simply vibrates for a few seconds and does nothing else...pls help...

read this and also a hard reset or flash is done by having the phone turned off holding green/red/camera key all together powering on the device and letting go off the buttons only when you see the hand logo

the default code is always 12345 and remove your memory card when you do this as well.

r u sure???coz i tried pressing all 3 buttons together but nothing happened

yes i am sure for your phone model it is green/red/camera buttons all at once keep on holiding them let go of the power button once you power on the device- you will ofcourse not know that you have it powered on until the handshake welcome screen shows up. now if this does not work then nokia care is your only option. when you let go off the power button, keep on holidng all three buttons until you feel/see some action on your phone. if nothing well....there is nothing you can do without assistance

I have the same problem. Wont start, and green, red, camera, power doesnt work.

if green/red/camera combination does not work for your phones the only thing you can do is take it to nokia care for service. you will not be able to do it by yourself and not void your warranty.

The following technic worked for my 5800.

1. Make sure that the device is turned off

2. push on the green, red and camera button at the same time

3. Turn the device on while pushing at those buttons.

Afterwords the device started and worked again
